today was the first time i have ever been disgusted with my school. im an avid tutor for a middle school . for those of you who are unfamiliar with avid, it is a school program that help students prepare for college. anyways today we went on a field trip to dominguez hills. we followed the tour guide around the school so they can see the campus. the last place the tour guide took us was the student union. as the tour guide was telling the students about the lsu you can hear a group of people making fun of the students. one of the csudh students came up to the group and straight out started laughing. it was so rude. you have no idea how many rude comments i heard today. some girl even had the nerve to compliment me and once i walked way started to talk crap about my outfit, like seriously wtf???! it wasnt even like she was trying to be discrete! and i bet you anything if she knew i went to DH & if i wasnt walking with the middle school kids she wouldn’t have said anything to me. after this incident happened it was time for the middle school students to get lunch. their teacher/my boss felt so uncomfortable that she did not want to break up in groups because she was scared of any other rude encounters that could happen with the avid students and the dh students. ughhhhhhh this really bothered me . i still feel disgusted. i was so excited to show my avid kids where i go to school but a bunch of immature people had to ruin the experience. like wtf?! how old are you. grow up. i never knew we had so many nasty people at our school til today.
